To obtain an AIS eMembership follow the links in the AIS Membership information area to join as an eMember. Once you have obtained your AIS eMembership you will be provided with a user name and password to access the special eMembership area content. You will need to use these to log on and access the area.
AIS Electronic Membership: AIS has several types of membership. eMembers do not receive printed copies of the AIS Bulletins. Instead, they have access to online AIS Bulletins using an easy to use online viewer. eMembers also have access to online viewing of The Basic Iris Culture booklet and access to irisregister.com, the online database of iris registrations and introductions. Additional services may be made available in the future. Summary of the current AIS Service links found within the AIS eMember service area:
Irisregister Database: the online database of iris registrations and introductions maintained by the American Iris Society. The AIS is recognized and acknowledged as the official world registry of non-bulbous iris cultivars. For more information on the iris registrations and introductions checklist compilations please go to the Iris Checklists area of the website. For more information on the iris cultivar registration process please go the the Iris Registrations area of the AIS website.
AIS Bulletin Library: The library contains AIS Bulletin issues in PDF format from the very first edition in 1920 through 2018 inclusive.
AIS Basic Iris Culture booklet: The AIS Basic Culture booklet is published by the American Iris Society, Third Edition 2011, 48 pages total.
AIS Library of Historic Iris Catalogs: The AIS has created a library of electronic copies of historic iris catalogs. This will be an ongoing project with new material that will be added to this resource from time to time.
Recent AIS Bulletins: view the latest quarterly AIS Bulletin online; also all previous issues from January 2010 to the current issue.
