AIS Tall Bearded Symposium 100 Most Popular Tall Bearded Iris

Dusky Challenger... winner of the popularity poll in 2000, 2001 and 2002! AIS Tall Bearded Symposium:
The symposium is an annual popularity poll of Tall Bearded Iris conducted by the AIS.

All AIS members may vote in this symposium. The top 100 Tall Bearded iris are ranked and the results of the symposium each year are published in the official publication of the AIS, the AIS Bulletin, usually the January issue. All AIS members receive this quarterly publication as part of their membership.

Ballot for 2008 AIS Tall Bearded Symposium: This list of iris on the ballot for the AIS Tall Bearded Symposium is being posted mainly for the benefit of overseas members, who often receive the July AIS Bulletin (which contains the ballot) close to or after the nominal voting deadline. It gives them a chance to cast their ballots by email or snail mail and maybe have more fun and feel less irritation at the mail system. All others are welcome to use the list while evaluating their irises, or for other purposes. However, voting using anything other than the official ballot contained in the July AIS Bulletin is by prior arrangement with your region AIS RVP only.

Each RVP now has the option of accepting ballots by email (by number or by name).
No member may vote for more than twenty-five varieties. You may vote for fewer than twenty-five if you wish. Write-in votes are not allowed and will not be tabulated.

And remember, all North American AIS members send their Symposium ballots to their region RVP, not to the Symposium chair. Sending a ballot to the wrong place creates an unnecessary problem in the voting process and may result in its not being counted.

The deadline for this ballot is September 1, 2007 (September 30 for overseas) (meaning received by the RVP by that date)
