database of AIS Check Lists and registered iris names
AIS Iris Checklist is an on-line
reference list of AIS registered irises which includes all the ten year
checklist compilations, the newer annual Registrations and Introductions
(R&Is), and all the reserved iris names. Click on the AIS Iris Check
List link and follow the instructions provided to get access to this
useful information resource.

The AIS Iris Checklist website contains a database that may be accessed
through a search engine and also includes several data files that may be downloaded
(see below).
The searchable Checklist database contains the full AIS checklist
entries for the following:
1999, 1989, 1979, 1969, and 1959 Check Lists.
Names (only) from the 1949 and 1939 Check Lists.
Full registration information from the 2000-2006 R&Is
Name and Hybridizer (only) from the 2007 R&I (when the 2008 R&I is
published the full text of the 2007 R&I will be added)
Reserved Names (as of 1 Feb 08)
In order to access and search the database you must have an ID and
Password and pay an annual subscription fee. For more information and
instructions, keep reading.

Checklist website and click on one of the links (please note that the 1999 Check
List is not available for download):

AIS Checklist database subscription info
Step 1
If you already have an ID and Password skip down to the "Step 2 - subscription
fee" information.
If you don't have an ID and Password the first step is to obtain them.

Step 2
The subscription fee for access to the irisregister database search
engine is:
1yr - $10.00; 3yr - $28.00; 5yr - $45.00; 10yr - $85.00 (All amounts in
US$)
You may pay by check made out to: American Iris Society. (payment
by check is the preferred way)

Your subscription will run for one year from the first of the month
following my receipt of your check. Your subscription will run out
automatically. You will not receive any notification that it has
expired. You must keep track of your renewal date.
